NAWIC's commitment to education and skilled training can be seen in a variety of areas. Since 1972, NAWIC's Education Foundation (NEF) has offered creative and educational programs for students from grade school and high school to adult certification programs. The Foundation's award-winning Block-Kids, Create-Build-Design and the Design Drafting competitive programs introduce students to careers and opportunities in construction. NEF's Adult Certification programs include: Construction Bookkeeping Technician (CBT), Construction Document Specialist (CDS), Construction Industry Specialist (CIS), Construction Industry Technician (CIT), and Estimating and Scheduling Practitioner (ESP). NAWIC Today Magazine

The Northeast Region Spring Forum will be in Washington, DC, May 5 - 6, 2023. On a larger scale, each August NAWIC offers one of the best buys in construction through its Annual Conference. Members attend educational seminars, meet inspirational speakers, and develop skills through workshops that recharge careers. Annual Conferences are set against the backdrop of exciting locations such as Atlanta, Reno, Anchorage, Nashville and New York City.
